Nate Hunter hopes every outing could go as well as Saturday, as Hunter threw a shutout to carry the Mt. Hood (25-17) to a 7-0 victory over the SW Oregon (12-32) at SWOCC Athletic Fields .

Hunter held the SW Oregon scoreless during his nine innings of work. He pitched a shutout, allowing no runs on four hits while striking out eight.

The Mt. Hood blew out the SW Oregon thanks to eight hits, including zero extra base hits. The Mt. Hood scored three runs in the sixth on the Mt. Hood scored in the sixth on an RBI single by Justin Sugg, a fielder's choice, a sacrifice fly by J.T. Williams, , and a fielder's choice.
