The San Francisco Seagulls (22-16) beat the Nevada Big Horns (14-18) 9-6 in seven innings on Sunday at North Tahoe Park behind Houston Roberts, who went 2-2.
He singled in the fourth and seventh innings.Nathan Principe was solid at the plate for the Nevada Big Horns. Principe went 2-3, drove in one and scored two runs. He doubled in the fifth inning and singled in the seventh inning.
Josh Eclavea improved to 3-1 on the year by picking up the win for the San Francisco Seagulls. He allowed four runs over five innings. He struck out one, walked three and surrendered four hits.
Brett Minnick (3-3) took the loss for the Nevada Big Horns. He allowed six runs in 5 2/3 innings, walked 10 and struck out two.
