Saturday was a great day for Zander Clouse, as Clouse pitched a no-hitter to carry the Bellevue (23-14) to a 5-0 victory over the Olympic (11-24) at Courter Field in seven innings.
The Bellevue's Alex Check was perfect at the dish, going 3-3. He tripled in the second inning and singled in the fourth and sixth innings.
Clouse recorded his sixth win of the year for the Bellevue. He struck out seven, walked three and surrendered no hits.
Connor Harkness ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just six innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed five runs.
