Both the Town Dock (8-10) and the RR Legion (11-7) put runners aboard on Sunday, but it was the Town Dock that were able to take advantage, pulling out an 8-6 win at Cardines Field.

Scott Woodward racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Town Dock. He doubled in the third inning and singled in the fourth inning.

The Town Dock got the win thanks in large part to Matt Thadeio's dominant, six-strikeout performance. Thadeio allowed one earned run, six hits and three walks over six innings.

Corey Batista racked up two RBIs on three hits for the RR Legion. He doubled in the fourth inning and singled in the second and seventh innings.

Batista was charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed eight runs in 3 1/3 innings, walked four and struck out five.
