2010: Hit a career-best .324 in his first season of independent baseball with the Joliet JackHammers... Also set career-highs in home runs (10), RBI (56), runs scored (70) and doubles (29)... Hit safely in 74 of the 98 games he played... Never went longer than two consecutive games without a hit... All of his 94 starts came in the outfield... Hit .459 against Winnipeg in 15 games, while adding two home runs and 14 RBI... Batted .381 in five playoff games... Longest hitting streak of the season was 13 games (July 1-July 18), including 11 multi-hit games and eight games against the Goldeyes... Had two four RBI games (May 24 at Winnipeg; July 5 vs. Lake County)... Went 4-for-4 and scored three runs June 1 against Rockford... Only multi-home run game of the season came July 5 vs. Winnipeg when he hit two dingers.

College: Played four seasons of NCAA Division I baseball in the SEC with the Georgia Bulldogs... Listed as one of Georgia’s greatest outfielders in school history after finishing his career with a .328 average, 12 home runs and 103 RBI... Led the Bulldogs in his senior season with a .323 batting average and 16 stolen bases... Played in the College World Series twice (2004 and 2006)... Hit .500 (nine-for-18) in nine NCAA playoff games... Was part of the first class in 2007 to win a Rawlings NCAA Gold Glove Award... Did not make an error in his senior season in 164 chances.
