Ryan Dorney spent a good portion of his youth in Rochester, and saw plenty of Honkers games as a fan back then. His family moved to Washington, where he Graduated high school and now play his college ball, but the chance to help out the Honkers for the final stretch of the season was enough to bring him back to town. Dorney made 17 relief appearances this past season for the St. Martin’s Saints, with a 4.79 ERA and 19 strikeouts across 20.2 innings pitched. He competed at Archbishop Murphy HS where he was named First-team All-State and First-Team All-Conference.
