Heckathorn joins the Revs after spending his entire previous career in the Milwaukee Brewers organization.  A first round draft pick (47th overall) out of Kennesaw State University in 2009, the 6’6 righty ascended the Brewers farm system as a starter early in his career.  Settling into a relief role, the 26-year-old has spent the past two seasons at Triple-A Nashville.  He enjoyed a strong 2013 season, going 8-3 with a 3.60 ERA in 48 appearances for the Sounds.  Over his career, the Fort Oglethorpe, GA native is 31-33 with a 4.35 ERA in 164 appearances (70 starts).
