Eli Anderson begins his professional career with the ThunderBolts in 2014. He was signed on June 5, 2014. Anderson spent four years as a pitcher at Northern Illinois University and finished his college career with a 15-12 record and 3.69 ERA in 52 games (33 starts). His best season was his junior year in 2013. He won a career-high nine games to four losses and finished with a 2.18 ERA. He also threw six complete games, including a shutout. As a senior, Eli went 4-6 with a 3.49 ERA. Prior to Northern Illinois, he attended New Trier High School in Winnetka, Illinois.
