Listed among players to watch on Canadian Baseball Network’s top prospects for the 2010 MLB Draft, Shane Davis is a junior left-handed pitcher for the Canisius College Griffins. In his third collegiate season, Davis compiled a 9-3 record with a 4.58 ERA. In his 98.1 innings pitch he allowed 50 earned runs on 124 hits, while striking out 70 and walking only 26. Davis has built quite the resume, ranking first in the programs history with 21 wins, 15 complete games, and 2.41 walks per 9 innings.

Named Third-Team All-American by three organizations and Freshman All-American by five organizations in 2008. In 2009, Davis was named to the MAAC All-Tournament Team, and won eight of his last 10 starts. Named to the All-MAAC Baseball First team in 2010. Native of Belmont, Ontario, Canada he attended East Elgin Secondary School where he was selected to Team Canada Junior National Team training roster in 2005 and won a gold medal with Team Ontario in the 2005 Canada Cup.
