SPRING 2014: Austin appeared in 40 games (starting 35) for Western Oregon and posted a .296 batting average with 9 doubles, 14 runs scored and 14 RBI. He drew 14 walks and struck out 18 times. Western Oregon finished 30-21 overall and 22-10 in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference and clinched the regular season conference title and a playoff berth.
SPRING 2013: Austin played short stop for Linn-Benton CC (Albany, OR) in 43 games posting a .298 batting average with 11 doubles, 4 triples, 36 runs scored, and 20 RBI. He was awarded a Gold Glove (infielder) and selected as a first team all-star by the Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges (NWAACC) Baseball Conference.
SPRING 2012: Austin pitched and played in field for Linn-Benton CC. He pitched 39.2 innings in 9 games (starting 8) posting a 3.63 ERA with one shut out and 19 strikeouts. As an infielder had a .186 Batting average in 37 games scoring 24 runs and 10 RBI. He was selected as a NWAACC Baseball first team all-star.

born in Salem, Oregon to parents Scott and Amy Hamilton. He has two brothers, Tanner and Cole. He is into golfing, laughing, singing, acting and going to plays. His favorite baseball team is the Boston Red socks and his favorite athlete is Jed Lowrie. His major is exercise science with a minor in psychology.
