Jon Cahill begins his first season as the Jackals’ third base and infield coach in 2010. Cahill brings two years of managerial experience to New Jersey after serving as the skipper of the Frontier League’s Traverse City Beach Bums in 2007 and 2008. The 32-year-old spent three seasons in the Anaheim Angels system before finishing his career with the independent Washington Wild Things in 2004, where he coached last season. In 2002 with the Single-A Cedar Rapids Kernels, Cahill accomplished a rare feat when he played all nine positions in one game. |
