The longest-tenured member of the New Jersey Jackals, left-hander Isaac Pavlik embarks on his sixth season at Yogi Berra Stadium in 2010. He will also serve as the Jackals' pitching coach.

The New Jersey native is coming off a 2009 campaign in which he went 6-6 while posting the ninth-best ERA in the Can-Am League (3.66) and striking out 75 batters with just 17 walks.

A 10th round selection by the Colorado Rockies in the 2002 draft out of Seton Hall, Pavlik began his professional career with the Single-A Tri-City Dust Devils, where he compiled a 1.13 ERA in 27 games. After spending 2003 with the Rockies Single-A affiliate in Visalia, the Belleville, NJ native signed with the Northeast League’s Bangor Lumberjacks before finding his way to the Jackals for the 2005 season.

Pavlik’s 105 career appearances with the Jackals entering 2010 are the most in franchise history.
