| Boruff is in his third season as a volunteer coach at Washington State, working primarily with pitchers and catchers. The Ephrata, Wash., native attended Lewis-Clark State and was part of the NAIA national championship teams in 1999 and 2000. The Kansas City Royals drafted Boruff in 35th round of the 1998 Amateur Draft. He managed the Moses Lake Pirates of the West Coast Collegiate Baseball League from the 2006-07 and received Coach of the Year honors in 2007 after guiding his team to a league title. In 2003, Boruff and former Bats coach Tony Arnerich were teammates on the Wilmington Blue Rocks of the Carolina League. | |||||||
