This is Brian's fifth year of professional baseball, all with the Colts. Henschel is the Colts all-time wins (34), innings pitched (490.1) and strikeout leader(281). He also holds the single season record for ERA (2.19) and has the fifth best ERA all-time (4.39) for San Angelo. In 2009 he went 11-3 with a 2.29 ERA in 16 starts. That season he went through a stretch where he allowed no runs in three consecutive starts from 7/23-8/2, a span of 23 innings. In 2008 he posted 10-3 record and a 4.36 ERA and tossed three complete-games. It was his second straight season with double digit wins. In 2007 he was 8-7 in 20 games, including 19 starts in his first season with San Angelo and won his first professional game on 5/12 vs. Laredo allowing one ER on four hits. He saved the best for last, tossing a CG shutout in his final start of the season on 8/18 vs. Alexandria while striking out eight on six hits. Brian played collegiately at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and his hometown is Hartland, Wisconsin.
