Professional: 2009 - Began season with Sioux City Explorers in the American Association . . . Signed by the Beach Bums on July 16 . . . Hit .347 after joining Traverse City with four homers and 22 RBI . . . Started career with a bang going        3-for-3, finishing just a triple shy of the cycle, driving in three runs in a win over Windy City . . . 13 multi-hit games in just 32 contests including two four hit games (8/9 Vs FLO; 8/26 Vs KZO) . . . Six-game hitting streak from August 2-11 where he hit .542 (13-for-22) with a homer, five RBI and six runs scored . . . Scored in seven straight games from August 2-12 . . . Hit an eye-popping .426 in 61 road at-bats.

College: Played at Appalachian State University . . . As a  junior for the Mountaineers hit .387 with 19 doubles, eight homers and drove in 63 . . . His 63 RBI in 2007 are third best in the ASU single season list while his 82 hits 7th and his 19 doubles that season are 9th best for a single year in ASU history . . . Has the distinction of hitting the first homerun in the history of the Mountaineer’s new Smith Stadium, when he clubbed a three-run shot in the seventh inning on April 10, 2007 against Gardner-Webb . . . As a capper to his     fantastic season, he hit .615 with three RBI in the SoCon Tournament, being named to the All-Tournament team . . . Hit .298 as a senior with six homers and 34 RBI . . .        Transferred to ASU after two seasons at Tallahassee      Community College.
