| Dan Grybash joined the Aviators' coaching staff in 2013 as the club's pitching coach after a successful minor league career as a player. After finishing his collegiate career at Carthage College, Grybash was drafted in the 32nd round of the 2003 MLB June Amateur Draft by the Milwaukee Brewers. Grybash spent the 2003 season with the Helena Brewers (Rookie class). Grybash pitched for the single-A Beliot Snappers in in 2004 and began the 2005 campaign with the high-A Brevard County Manatees before he finished with the independent Forth Worth Cats. While playing for the Schaumburg Flyers in 2007, Grybash met Aviators' hitting coach Pat O'Sullivan and again played with O'Sullivan later with the Forth Worth Cats. Grybash and O'Sullivan met Aviators' manager James Frisbie (then the Cats' pitching coach) while playing for the Cats in 2009. Through eight seasons in the minor leagues, Grybash amassed a 41-25 record and sported an ERA below 3.50 in four of those | |||||||
