2012: Prendergast led Bomber pitchers in innings pitched and strikeouts as a freshman, earning him Empire 8 and ECAC Upstate NY Rookie of the year honors. After compiling eight wins and a 2.81 earned run average in 12 starts he was named a Second-Team Empire 8 and ABCA New York Region All-Star. He was named Empire 8 pitcher of the week twice, as well as ECAC Upstate NY Pitcher of the Week after compiling a 1.14 earned run average and 19 strikeouts in his first 23 innings of the season.

High School: A 2011 graduate of Shenendehowa High School, Prendergast was coached by Jim Caresse. He was named to the Section II all-star team as a junior and senior.

Personal: A business administration major, he is the son of John and Carol Prendergast.
