Phil Mosey comes to the Mainers as a sophomore at Notre Dame. During the 2013 season he appeared in 33 games. He hit three homeruns, ranking third on the team in that category, and had 13 RBI.During his freshman year, Mosey played in 19 games and started 14, including six at third base and eight at shortstop. Before Notre Dame, he went to Cathedral High School in Indianapolis, Indiana. In 2011, he had a .329 batting average. Also in that same year, he was named First Team All-Indianapolis in 2011 and he helped Cathedral win sectional, regional and semi-state championships. During his four years of high school Mosey helped his team produce a 92-5 record.
