Pat is entering his fifth year of professional baseball and second stint with the Bridgeport Bluefish. His last professional season was in 2010 with the Bluefish as well as Independent Pittsfield of the Can-Am League. He appeared in 15 total games that season, two of those with Bridgeport. Bresnahan finished the year striking out 10 batters in 18.0 innings of work while compiling a 3-2 record and a 5.09 ERA. 

Altoona Curve (AA, Pirates) of the Eastern League is where Bresnahan spent the 2008 season. The righty struck out 40 batters and picked up six saves over 50.1 innings of work.
Over the course of four seasons in the minor leagues, the former Pac-10 pitcher owns a 12-11 record with a 3.65 ERA and 175 strikeouts. 
Bresnahan was selected by the Pittsburgh Pirates in the fifth round of the 2006 amateur draft.
