Snyder grew up in Southern California and now lives with his wife and six children in Northern Utah. A three-time All-American at Brigham Young University, Snyder is still credited for hitting the longest home run at home in the history of the Cougar program. 

 

Cory played in the Major Leagues for the Cleveland Indians, Chicago White Sox, Toronto Blue Jays, Los Angeles Dodgers and San Francisco Giants from 1986 through 1994. His best season was 1987 with the Indians when he hit 33 home runs with 82 RBIs. He was well known for his throwing arm and slugging power. On April 17, 1994, Snyder became the 6th player in MLB history to hit three home runs in a game for teams in both leagues (LAD 1994, CLE 1987).

 

Though Snyder¿s overall career was hindered late by injuries, he did compile 149 homers and finished with a .247 lifetime batting average.

 

He enters his third year at the helm of the RoadRunners with a 66-97 managerial record. Snyder has also managed the San Diego Surf Dawgs in the Arizona Winter League for the past three seasons.
