Mitch Einertson joins the Diablos in 2012 after spending time with the Wichita Wingnuts. The 5’11, 180 lbs outfielder from Oceanside, California, was drafted by the Houston Astros in the 5th round of the 2004 draft. He began his career splitting time in 2004 with the Rookie level Greeneville Astros of the Appalachian League and the Low A Tri-City ValleyCats of the New York-Pennsylvania League. In 2005 and 2006, Einertson spent time with the A level Lexington Legends of the South Atlantic League before moving up to the High A Salem Avalanche of the Carolina League in 2007. Einertson made it as far as Double A with the Corpus Christi Hooks of the Texas League before moving on to independent ball in 2009 with the Chico Outlaws of the Golden Baseball League. In 2011, Einertson split time with the Maui Na Koa Ikaika of the North American League and the Wichita Wingnuts. In nine seasons of professional baseball, Einertson has played in 793 games, scored 448 runs, and collected 777 hits, including 183 doubles, 12 triples, 96 home runs, and 494 RBIs with a career stat line of .274/.349/.448. He has a career fielding percentage of .973 while being used predominately as an outfielder.
