RHP Jeremy Goins returns to Sioux City for his second season after spending nearly half of 2024 with the Explorers. He finished the season with a 6.00 ERA in nine relief innings across eight games, striking out 15. Goins made his professional debut on July 9, 2024, and earned his first career win on August 19 against Kansas City. He finished strong with two consecutive scoreless appearances to close the regular season.

Goins joined Sioux City after pitching one season for the University of Tampa in 2024, where he posted a 6.23 ERA over 17.1 innings. He started his collegiate career at the College of Central Florida in 2019 before transferring to Pasco-Hernando State College for the 2021 season. In 2022, Goins started seven games for the Bobcats, posting a 2.35 ERA across 38.1 innings. He did not pitch in 2023.

Born in Tampa, Florida, Goins attended King High School and served as team captain his senior year. In his junior year, the school made the state championship game. Goins also played outfield for King High School.
