Dudones just completed his first season at Florida State College in Jacksonville, where he tossed 61.2 innings mostly in a starting role. The Fleming Island native started 12 games and came out of the bullpen four times, recording an overall record of 5-2. In his prep career, Dudones pitched at Fleming Island High School, where he went 8-1 with a 1.66 earned run average, helping the Eagles to the state championship game in Florida's class 6A and earning second team All-County honors.
