DeGeorge joins the Patriots for his second season after playing in 58 games for the team in 2011, where he finished with 41 hits, eight doubles, and 20 runs scored.
Before joining the Patriots, he spent the beginning of the 2011 season with the Cleveland Indians organization at the Single-A level.
In 2010, he played in 43 games with Mahoning Valley of the New York Penn League.
DeGeorge has 105 hits, 32 RBI, and 10 stolen bases in 157 career minor league games.He played at the collegiate level for Princeton University where he received All Ivy League Honorable Mention honors in his freshman year.
He played high school baseball locally for Delbarton, a private school located in Morristown, NJ.DeGeorge, an Annandale resident, is also an alumni of the Jack Cust Baseball Academy in Flemington, NJ.
