: Longoria made 17 appearances and threw 31 innings in Spring 2011. He finished the year with a 3.16 ERA. A.J. lost his only decision for the Chaps. He averaged a 7.18 k/9 innings ratio. He averaged over two strikeouts for every walk. Longoria delivered at the plate for Midland in 2010. He hit .343 in 140 at-bats. A.J. crushed five home runs and brought 34 teammates home. He finished second on the team in slugging percentage with a .586 clip. Longoria also stole 4 bases while playing the outfield as a freshman. On the mound, he won five games as a freshman and lost just one. He also saved one game for the Chaps. He compiled a 5.96 ERA in 25.2 innings. Longoria will attend St. Mary's (TX) in the fall.
