A freshman left-handed pitcher from Milton, Washington, Booser was rated as the No. 4 high school player in the state of Washington by Baseball Northwest. As a senior he hit .475 with six doubles, two triples, five home runs, and 40 RBI. A year earlier as a junior, Booser hit .481 with seven doubles, three triples, six home runs, and 24 RBI. On the mound he was 5-1 with a 1.73 ERA in eight appearances.

Mallards Field Manager Greg Labbe thinks Booser’s versatility will play an important role on the team this summer. “Booser was one of the most talented kids coming out of the state of Washington last year,” said Labbe. “He adds a lot of value to our roster because of his versatility as a two-way guy, and the fact that he can play the outfield, first base, and even pitch. Also, reports about his arm strength have been impressive thus far.”
