The SwampBats coaching staff is bolstered by the presence of Gary Calhoun as its Head Assistant Coach.  Calhoun brings a recognition by his peers throughout the country as one of the finest college coaches over the past thirty years.  Prior to entering the coaching ranks, Gary played for Florida Southern College, graduating in 1976 and also winning a national championship.  Gary also attended the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL where he received his Masters in Education in 1982.
