A rock solid backstop, Biggar makes his way to Sanford in 2018 after finishing up his sophomore season at the University of Georgia.  The former top-ranked catcher in the state of Georgia, and 9th nationally, gives the Mainers depth both offensively and defensively at the catcher position.  This year Biggar appeared in 22 games, starting 16, and racked up 10 hits with 7 RBIs and 3 runs scored while holding onto a .993 fielding percentage to go along with 136 putouts and 13 assists.  In his standout freshman season in 2017, the 6-2 native of Lilburn, Georgia had 29 hits, including a pair of home runs and six doubles, adding 12 RBIs and 18 runs scored to the lineup.  He was the go to catcher for the Bulldogs starting 44 games behind the plate out of his 46 total appearances holding down a .983 fielding percentage and getting 306 putouts to go with 39 assists.  In his legendary career at Parkview High School, he was a .340 career hitter with 20 home runs, more than 100 RBIs and was named an All-American.
