The Garden City Wind (32-23) beat the Great Bend Boom (18-35) 14-6 on Tuesday thanks to a four-run eighth inning.

The Garden City Wind scored in the eighth on an RBI double by Clay Ardeeser, a two-run double by Willie Ethington, and an RBI single by Nick Francis.

Beau Welborn racked up four RBIs on three hits for the Garden City Wind. He singled in the first innings, doubled in the third innings, and tripled in the ninth inning.

Darryl Baca racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Great Bend Boom. He homered in the first inning and singled in the third inning.

Chip White recorded his first win of the year for the Garden City Wind. He allowed one run over two innings. He struck out two, walked none and surrendered two hits.

Ian Miller couldn't get it done on the bump for the Great Bend Boom, taking a loss. He allowed seven runs in seven innings, walked two and struck out four.
