Spagnuolo returns to the Gulls this summer for a second stint at Cardines Field. While with the Gulls last year, he went 2-2 with a 3.95 ERA, holding opposing batters to a .165 average. He currently pitches for the Vanderbilt Commodores and will be going into his junior season with them this upcoming season.

Ranked by Perfect Game as the 40th best right-hander nationally and as the fourth best prospect in New York, Spagnuolo is ranked the third best righty in the State of New York.

“Spags has pitching tools that you can’t teach,” said Head Coach Tim Corbin. “There is a tremendous amount of potential in his arm and body.”

While at Chaminade High School, he tossed a no-hitter during his senior year to clinch the league title. He lettered two years in baseball and basketball, and one year in golf.
