Before Wake Forest: Was selected by the Chicago Cubs in the 38th round of the 2015 MLB draft. Was a two-time Gatorade Player of the Year honoree in Vermont. Named to ABCA/Rawlings All-Northeast Region Team and was a three-time First Team All-Region honoree. 2015 Honorable Mention All-American by Perfect Game.
