Brayden Theriot is a right handed pitcher who joins the Muskrats following
his freshman year at Texas State University. In 2016, Braden had a 2-1 record in 16
appearances. He had a 6.53 ERA in 20.2 innings while allowing a .315 opponent
average. He struck out 15 while walking 7. He debuted for the Bobcats on February
22 and pitched a scoreless inning, allowing only one hit. His first win came in a 1.2
inning effort against Incarnate Word. In that appearance, he allowed two hits and
only one run. Brayden is the son of Sheryl and John Theriot and has an older sister
named Brittani. The Sugar Land, Texas native attended Elkins High School. There
he earned All-District First Team honors. Off the field, Brayden achieved academic
excellence all four years of high school. He also competed in swimming, in which he
qualified for state.
