A reliever/outfielder, Wilks has played at several different schools throughout his college career. Wilks played his Freshman year at Kansas State where he was an All-Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll athlete compiling a 8.18 ERA. Wilks found a new home and added success at McLennan College his Sophomore year putting up some outstanding numbers, hitting .336 (.433 on-base percentage) with 23 runs scored, 10 doubles, one triple, one home run, 19 walks and 22 RBI while helping McLennan to a runner-up finish at the National Junior College Athletics Association (NJCAA) World Series.  He also played in the Alaska Baseball League in the summer of 2015 where he posted a 1.39 ERA.  Offensively, he hit .258 and recorded 16 hits.  He was named to the All-Star Team and the All-Alaska League Team.  Wilks will likely help out the ‘Cats on the mound and in the outfield.
