Infielder Deven Braden joins the AirHogs after playing out his collegiate career at Chico State University.  This past season he batted .311 with a .482 slugging percentage and 51 hits, seven home runs, and 27 RBI.  Committing only two errors during the season, his fielding percentage was .981.

In 2009, Braden played in a collegiate wood bat summer league and was named the First Team second baseman on the Horizon Air Summer Series 2009 All-Series Team.  While playing for the Yuba-Sutter Gold Sox out of Marysville, Braden appeared in 33 games and was second on the team with a .322 batting average, with three home runs and 22 RBI while collecting eight stolen bases.
