Travis McGee begins his first season with the ThunderBolts in2014. It is his first professional season after he started his career with the Gary SouthShore RailCats earlier in 2014. He pitched in three games for Gary after graduating from Chapman University. Travis was the ace of the Panthers pitching staff as a senior, going 6-2 with a 2.59 ERA in 12 games (nine starts) on his was to being named SCIAC Pitcher of the Year. McGee finished his career at Chapman with a 16-11 record and a 3.23 ERA in three years with 223 career strikeouts in 214.1 innings. He attended Brea Olinda High School in Brea, California.
