Dallas Tarleton brings Triple-A experience to the Sioux Falls Canaries in 2014 after reaching the top minor league level with the Colorado Rockies organization in 2012 and 2013. In 27 games last season, the left-handed hitting catcher batted a combined .197 with one home run and three RBI with Triple-A Colorado Springs and Double-A Tulsa.  In five minor league seasons, he hit .251 with 55 extra base hits and 98 RBI. 

The Rockies selected the left-handed hitting catcher in the 20th round of the 2009 draft out of Elon University where he posted a .325 career batting average in 112 games played.
