Manager Brent Bowers has  been around professional baseball for almost his entire life.  The Chicago, Illinois native started working his way up the ranks at a very young age and had one of the best part-time jobs any kids could have as batboy for the Chicago White Sox at the old Comiskey Park.  Before that, one of his first ever jobs was selling popcorn as a vendor in the same stadium!  He was drafted in the second round of the 1989 Major League Baseball Entry draft by the Toronto Blue Jays and has been drawn back to this country many times since then.  He had the privilege of calling Cal Ripken Jr. a teammate when he made his big league debut with the Baltimore Orioles back in 1996.  Brent’s managed teams in Independent League’s all over North America and even managed some teams in Columbia.  Brent’s engaged to a Winnipeg girl and lives in Chicago in the winter.
