A pitcher who has the consistency to pitch multiple innings at a time, Richardson comes to the City by the Sea after completing his freshman season with the Louisville Cardinals. In three appearances, Richardson went 0-0 with a 2.70 ERA, striking out three batters in 3.1 innings of work. Richardson also held opposing hitters to a .091 batting average in 2014.
Richardson came to Louisville after starring at Owensboro Catholic High School (Owensboro, Kentucky), where he made the All-State team, and was named the Area Player of the Year for his contributions on the mound.
