Bryce Nugent is a catcher from Marist College.  2010 was another outstanding season for Bryce in which he batted .333 in 52 games, hitting 4 homeruns and driving in 48. He also caught baserunners at an outstanding rate of nearly 39% and made only 4 errors all season.  In 2009 he was named to the MAAC All-Tournament Team and Second Team All-MAAC.  He appeared in 52 games batting .318 with 8 homeruns and 41 runs batted in.  In 179 at-bats recorded an on base percentage of .425 and slugged .503.  He also led the team with 31 walks and was named to the Watch List for the Johnny Bench Award.  In 2008 he appeared in 30 games and hit .276 with 2 homeruns and 10 runs batted in.  In 2008 he made just one error and threw out nearly 26 percent of the runner attempting to steal.  Before attending Marist, Baseball America ranked Bryce 23rd nationally among high school catchers.  Bryce is majoring in History.
