Coaching the pitching staff in his first season is former area ace Luke Demko. He graduated from nearby Gilford High School, where he was 21-4, a two-time First Team All-State player, and three-time team MVP. He threw a perfect game in his senior year. Luke pitched for the Sanford Mainers during his college playing days at the University of Rhode Island. He was drafted by the San Francisco Giants in 2009, and played professionally for the Newark Bears. Demko is currently in his first season as the pitching coach for Fort Scott Community College, in Fort Scott, Kansas. His collegiate catcher is Muskrat Corey Stringer.
