Hill has already made his mark in Revolution history.  The right-hander joined York early in the 2012 season, and after a pair of relief outings, moved to the rotation where he made five consecutive scoreless starts, tallying a team record scoreless streak of 27.2 innings before earning a contract with the Toronto Blue Jays.  After going 9-2 with Triple-A Las Vegas, Hill earned a late season promotion to the Majors where he earned a win in relief in his lone appearance on September 29 over Andy Pettitte and the Yankees, becoming the first Revs alum to earn a big league victory.  The 33-year-old is a veteran of seven MLB seasons with Montreal, Washington, San Diego and Toronto, totaling 10 wins and a 4.69 ERA at the Major League level.  Having pitched at the Triple-A level in the Tigers, Blue Jays, and White Sox organizations the last two seasons, Hill is 64-55 with a 3.69 ERA over his minor league career.  He had signed with York last preseason before being offered a contract by the Blue Jays, as the Mississauga, Ontario native returned to his home-Provence organization.  Hill is one of four native Canadians to play for both the Blue Jays and Expos, joining Matt Stairs, Rob Ducey and Denis Boucher.

Hill has also spent the last several years at the top of the starting rotation for the Canadian national team, playing in most international tournaments including the 2008 Olympic Games and the 2013 World Baseball Classic, where he was Canada's #1 starter.
