Alex Gouin currently attends the University of Hartford. He grew up in West Orange, New Jersey and attended West Orange High School. In his freshmen year at Hartford he played in 22 games with 110 appearances at pitcher. So far in his college career he has a 5.92 ERA, which is currently second on his team. In high school he was named Area of the Year Player as a senior and had a .484 batting average with five home runs. He is a Yankees and Giants fan and in his spare time he plays the piano.
