A transfer from the University of New Mexico where he was redshirted last season, Nolan had a notable baseball career at La Cueva High School where he was an All-State selection, a two-time All-District and All-Metro selection. He was named to the All-State Tournament Team and selected for the annual North-South All-Star game.
