Castrichini is not traveling far to spend his first summer as a Navigator, hailing from Peabody and having played four years at local power St. John’s Prep. Appearing in 16 games this season, he carved out a key role in the Skyhawks’ bullpen and earned two of his team-high four saves in Northeast Conference play. The righty finished second on the team in appearances and tied for third with his 30 strikeouts in 28.2 frames. 

Prior to joining the Navs, Castrichini pitched for the Pittsfield Suns and Norwich Sea Unicorns of the Futures League in 2023, compiling a 3.82 ERA with 32 strikeouts in 30.2 innings. He was the starting pitcher in Norwich’s league championship-clinching victory last summer.
