Kessler brings a veteran presence to the clubhouse, as the righthander has multiple years of collegiate experience under his belt. The Bradenton native pitched at State College of Florida before moving over to Florida Southern, where he made three bullpen appearances for the Mocs this spring. Kessler also has multiple years of summer ball experience, playing last summer and earlier this year in the Appalachian League for the Johnson City Doughboys and the Kingsport Axmen.
