Green Bay native and Jacksonville University catcher/infielder Jake Berg joins the Bats after his sophomore collegiate campaign that saw him record a hit in 21 of his first 43 games (38 starts).  He also drove in 21 runs, reached base at a .300 clip, and helped his team's pitching staff hold opponents to a .246 batting average.  Berg's Dolphins debut came last season - on March 13 - when we pinch-hit against No. 5 Florida, and his first hit came on March 20 against UCF.  He is double-majoring in Business Analytics and Kinesiology at JU.
