To get set for a Division 1 graduate season, Marshall is one of two pitchers returning to the Navs for a third straight summer. The Swampscott native finished his four-year career at Division 2 Stonehill with a 6.17 ERA and team-leading 57 strikeouts in 52.1 innings as a senior. He earned NCBWA East Region Pitcher of the Week on May 5 after fanning 12 Saint Anselm batters over seven shutout innings during his penultimate start of 2022.

Marshall’s 50 strikeouts in 41 innings last summer were the most-ever by a North Shore pitcher in the NECBL. He earned three wins and two NECBL Pitcher of the Week honors and had a 3.07 ERA during the regular season, but his highlight was a complete-game shutout at Keene to begin the Northern Division Semifinals.
