Keegan Pulford-Thorpe comes to the Loggerheads from UCF, where he committed as one of the top players in Canada. The lefthander, who was selected in the 33rd round of the 2019 MLB Draft by the San Diego Padres, was ranked in the top ten players in the province of Ontario. Pulford-Thorpe is the son of Paul Thorpe, who played in seven seasons in the Oriole organization. On his mother’s side, he is related to Hockey Hall of Famer Bob Pulford and former Stanley Cup champion Barry Ashbee. Pulford-Thorpe has been a successful hockey player as well, and was drafted in the 12th round of the Ontario Hockey League draft by the Sudbury Wolves.
