One of the standout outfielders in collegiate baseball nationally, Refsnyder earned All-Pac 10 Honorable Mention honors as a freshman last year and was on the fast track to more accolades with his start to his sophomore season this spring.

            Refsnyder began this year hitting .342 in 39 games, having also knocked nine doubles, three triples, four homers, and 34 RBI.

            In 55 games as a freshman, he finished third for the Wildcats in average with .344, while also hitting nine doubles, three triples, two homers and 40 RBI. He also earned Forth Worth All-Regional Team honors.

            A graduate of Laguna Hills High School in California, Refsnyder was a First Team All-CIF choice his senior year, as well as Pacific Coast League MVP. He set the school record for both highest career batting average and highest single-season batting average. Additionally, he won a gold medal with the USA Youth National Team.

            Also a standout football and basketball player at Laguna Hills, Refsnyder earned the Pacific Coast League Athlete of the Year award his senior season.

            Originally born in South Korea, he comes from a family of athletes. Refsnyder’s sister, Elizabeth, currently plays softball at Kenyon College. His father, Clint, played basketball at Muhlenberg College.

            Refsnyder is majoring in regional development with a minor in sports management.
