Gordon was drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals in the 36th round of the 2016 MLB Draft and spent three years in the Cardinals' farm system. Gordon has a 10-9 career record and a 2.18 ERA, allowing just five home runs in 67 games and he has recorded 130 strikeouts. The strikeouts have carried over to Rockland, where Gordon has struck out 29 batters in his first 20.2 innings of 2019.
